There are a few ways you can choose to steam your face. When steaming, remember you only need to steam no longer than 5-10 minutes and no more than once a week . And if you suffer from Rosacea, I would suggest not to steam as this will aggravate the the condition. Even though steaming is beneficial and hydrating to the skin, if you suffer from dry skin and or eczema please be careful. I would strongly suggest to limiting the time to no more than 5 minutes.
1. STEAM USING A WARM FACIAL CLOTH
This is probably the quickest and easiest ways to steam your face. I actually use this method quite often. It's convenient because I can get my whole routine done in the bathroom.
2. STEAM WITH A PORTABLE FACIAL STEAMER
I must admit, when using my portable facial steamer I feel like I really brought the spa experience home! There are so many amazing models out there on the market. Just be sure to follow the instructions to a tee! You can easily traumatize your skin if not used correctly. I really love the ones that allow you to use essential oils. It allows you to tailor your session according to your skin's needs.
